[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FILING DEADLINE IS NOV 16: ARRL's Guide to Filing Comments with the FCC Opposing $50 fee

Tomorrow is the deadline for filing an opposition comment to the FCC Notice
of Rulemaking for a $50.00 fee on each new, or renewing ham license
application.  For those who intended to file an opposition statement and
have not done so, attached is a sample opposition statement that can be
quickly modified and filed as a comment.

The ARRL is urging all members to file individual comments opposing this
proposed fee.  Obviously this applies to all amateurs who oppose a fee for
amateur radio licensing. The deadline to make your voice heard is November
16, 2020. The reply

comment deadline - that is, the deadline for comments on comments already
filed - is November 30.  Attached is a copy of the ARRL guidelines for
filing comments on the FCC fee proposal.
