100 Bonus Points for Field Day 2020

To All who are participating in Field Day,

In the ARRL Field Day Rules. 7.3.5 you can obtain 100 bonus points by
originating a message and transmitting over RF to either the Section
Manager (SM) or the Section Emergency Coordinator (SEC). I will be happy to
take these messages, addressed to the SEC, and reply back to you to obtain
credit by printing out both the originating message and reply (from me) to
submit with your Field Day documentation. This applies to both individuals
doing FD on their own as well as clubs/groups.

All I ask if you are operating alone, representing a club or group to
designate someone in your group to send this message. It will help in
avoiding duplication.

Again, the originating message needs to be set by RF. The address to send
your message to is: *SEC.ARESVA at gmail.com <SEC.ARESVA at gmail.com>*

*Here is information from the ARRL FD 2020 rule book:*

7.3.5. Message Origination to Section Manager: 100 bonus points for
origination of a formal message to the ARRL Section Manager or *Section
Emergency Coordinator* by your group from its site. You should include the
club name, number of participants, Field Day location, and number of ARES
operators involved with your station. The message must be transmitted
during the Field Day period and a copy of it must be included in your
submission
in standard ARRL radiogram or no credit will be given. The message must
leave or enter the Field Day operation via amateur radio RF. The Section
Manager message is separate from the messages handled in Rule 7.3.6. and may
not be claimed for bonus points under that rule. Available to all Classes.

Good Luck and most of all be careful.

73,
John Roberts / WB4AXY
