[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] WINLINK Wednesday and Digital

All,

                First Thanks to Ian, N8IK and others for getting the new
router up and running.   This will get the DMR on the network.  The D-Star
will need more time to get up, but I hope we can set up a time for those to
work some of our members who are out of the normal VHF line-of-sight.

                For WINLINK Wednesday,  I will set up my station so that
others can relay (DIGIPEAT) through my station on 145.75 KA3POX-10 gateway
in Fort Washington MD.  All you need to do is go to the channel selection
pull down and select that gateway, but when you set up you can change DIRECT
to RELAY and go VIA N4ASX.  As long as you can reach my station, it should
relay to the gateway.  I will try to leave it up from 10AM to Noon on
Wednesday.

                Eventually,  we may set up our own WINLINK gateway in
Alexandria,  and I understand there is a way to make this work via AREDN as
well.
