[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] New Club Tri-fold Available

I am proud to announce that the Alexandria Radio Club has a new Club
Tri-fold brochure, attached.  It was developed by club leaders consisting of
current and past club officers, which I will call the "ARC Leadership
group."  We hope that you will use it to better introduce family, friends,
and acquaintances to club functioning, events, and ham fun.

 

As a BSA Radio Merit Badge counselor teaching at a merit badge Jamboree in
Leesburg, VA yesterday, I was asked about radio license training by one of
the adult Scout leaders.  She was asking for her son. When I pulled out a
sample of our new brochure (I only had one) giving it to her, another
person, a ham operator, wanted one too because he was looking for a ham
radio club to join.  I am sure I could have given out more if I had them,
just to people who were more than casually interested in ham radio.  

 

Hope you will find them as helpful and useful as I did yesterday.
