[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FW: ARRL: 16-JAN-2021 SET Registration Closing

All,

                I missed this earlier,   The state is setting up a SIMULATED EMERGENCY EXERCISE (SET)  to be performed on January 16th.  If you can operate you can register.  I have already registered Alexandria ARES, but you would need to register as an individual.

Rick,

Are we playing in this exercise?  It looks like it will use Winlink almost exclusively and I do not have a setup any longer since my computer died.  Therefore I will probably not register for this event.

16-JAN-2021 SET Registration Closing


 


 

The registrations for the Simulated Emergency Test scheduled for January 16th will close at midnight on December 31.  If you have friends or members of your Emergency Communication Group that has not registered, let them know of the closing of registration.  These last 16 days is needed for people to compose their traffic for the exercise.

If you are using the ARRL email system, make sure your membership is up to date.  I have had messages returned, I feel the reason is their membership has expired.  Thanks to each of you for registering.
