One of my coworkers is making available to me a Motorola MTR2000 base station/repeater/receiver that has been decommissioned and taken out of service. I’ve been told it’s working and was last used for commercial service. My coworker says it may even be possible to upgrade it with a MTR3000 card for digital use.
I have no use for it, or a place to install it... so I’m offering it to the club as a donation (when I get it) to either use or sell.
I’ll have more information when I see the unit. Please let me know if the club is interested!
