The propagation wasn't good enough for my mag loop, and the plug from 
the headset to the mic jack on my 817 decided to develop an intermittent 
open (PTT issues). I'll be ordering a couple of spares from HRO soon.

Maybe next year, I'll feel up to setting up the CrankIR (my knees are 
hurting right now) and operating that way. I knew the conditions weren't 
good enough for the HFp, even if I felt up to setting it up, at least on 
40m.

Better luck next year...
