Last February, Riley Hollingsworth, K4ZDH, who once handled Amateur Radio
enforcement for the FCC, was named to oversee the development and
implementation phases of the Volunteer Monitor program.

Mr. Hollingsworth will be giving a presentation on the Volunteer Monitor
Program, which replaced the Official Observer Program. Many of you may
remember Riley, the Joe Friday of the bands, from his days as Special
Council for Enforcement at FCC, where he and his minions of Official
Observers rode herd on wayward Hams. While Special Council, Riley was all
business! Now, Riley has started the Volunteer Monitor Program. Information

Riley is excited about updating status, and when to expect Advisory Notices
issued by the VM Program. For repeat offenders, these will be followed by
FCC Warning Letters, and ultimately for those who don't get it, Enforcement
Actions.

The presentation will occur 1930 hours January 16, 2020 at the new Fairfax
County Public Safety HQ 12099 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA
22035-5501. All are welcome.
