[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Annual Election of Alexandria Radio Club (ARC) Officers

Annually at the November meeting of the ARC, we elect club officers for the
upcoming year.  Our corporate bylaws require that officers be licensed
amateurs and impose a two-year term limit on individual positions.  Monica
(KC2IAY), and Don (KI4D) have each served one year as President and Vice
President, respectively.  That means that they are each eligible for one
more year and they have agreed to serve, if elected.  However, that does
not preclude any eligible amateur from running for either of these
offices.

On another note, our Secretary, Casey (KM4GMQ) and Treasurer, Ian (N8IK)
cannot serve a third year in their current offices – probably much to their
relief!  We will need to elect both a new Secretary and a new Treasurer.
So, if you're interested in running, or would like more info before
deciding to throw your hat in the ring, please contact a member of the
nominating committee:  Rich (KA4GFY), Rick (N4ASX) or Larry (KK4CBL), and
we'd be happy to discuss!

Obviously, we need people to volunteer for each of the offices of Secretary
and Treasurer.  In the event we have no volunteers leading up to the
November meeting we will have to approach those we consider well qualified
and offer a super opportunity to serve.  Our club will not run well unless
we have excellent officers.  Please consider volunteering!
