[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Field Day, June 23-24, 2018

Field Day is held annually on the last full weekend in June; this year it’s
June 23-24.  Whether you’ve never operated on HF or have DXCC certificates
on the wall, come out and join us for a weekend of operating fun.  This
year we’ll begin setting up radios and antennas at Joseph Hensley Park,
4200 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria beginning at 10am.  QSOs begin at 2pm
and run for 24 hours (or whatever time you can spare).  Plenty of “Elmers”
to help if you’ve never operated HF before!



We’d like everyone to contribute $10 to defray food costs.  We’ll take
cash, checks, or credit cards at the event.  Please let me know if you’re
attending so we can get William KM4KLK, our Chief Cook this year, an
accurate head count.  No need to notify me if you’ve already contributed at
the last two club meetings.  See you next Saturday!
