Hi Everybody,

I received this from Steve Schneider, K3IZ. Many of us know Steve from the Mount Vernon ARC. He is retiring from Ham Radio and is selling his equipment this Saturday, July 28 at his QTH, see address and phone numbers below.

It looks like he some really good deals on equipment, so if you are looking for radios and other ham radio related items, check it out.

We hate to see him retire.

Rich, KA4GFY

Subject: Ham Radio Yard sale / station sell out

John, Rick and Rich,

After all these years of enjoying this great hobby of Ham Radio, I am hanging up the earphones. As wonderful as it is I just don’t have the time or inclination to get the station on the air. And well my hearing isn’t what it was. So, I am selling off all the ham radio equipment I have. Yep everything. All the rigs and tuners and antennas, even the tents and tables.

I figured that I would have a Ham radio yard sale at my house. So I want to invite as many hams as would like to stop by to my Ham Radio Yard sale. I have to say that I was a member 50 years ago of the Alexandria Radio Club, and Woodbridge Wireless, I have known many members over the years. I have worked with many of the fine folks in the Arlington ARC at ARES events. Could you gentlemen get this info on your Club reflector/ Emailing list and spread the word about my Electronic yard sale effort.

Yeah, I could take all this stuff to Berryville and that would get more eyes on the goodies but there is a lot of little things I just don ’t want any more. So it would be quite an effort but oh well we’ll see how this works out. I am planning on doing this sell off on Saturday, July 28.
