[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] INFO FOR George Washington's Birthday Parade

If you can volunteer for tomorrow's  George Washington's Birthday Parade
there is ALL of the information that was handed out at the marshal's meeting
today.

In order to get into position before the police shut down the roads we need
to meet at the Fire Training Center at the south end of S. Fayette St. at
9AM.  We need to get down to the parade area before the police close the
streets at 10AM.  I will arrange for permits to park our cars at the Lyles
Crouch School and will get copies of the order of march.  Each unit has two
numbers. One is the DIVISION number where they form up, the second number is
for the order of march.  As soon as I get the list I will forward to all.

Rich will take the trailer to the start /finish area and I will go to the
reviewing stand.  We will not use packet or D-Star this year, but will ask
that you collect your Divisions Changes and hand them over to the guy or
guys in the trailer so that they can be called up to the reviewing stand.  

If you have an APRS handheld, I would like you to go either at the start of
the end of the parade and I will set up a display at the reviewing stand so
they know when to expect the parade.

We will use the 147.315 repeater as talk in to the Fire Training Center and
we will use the 146.655 repeater for the parade.  The reviewing stand may go
off to a simplex frequency if we have a lot of traffic. Please print out and
bring a copy of the attachment.
