[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FCC Finally gets interfering amateur

All,
I noted in the August issue of CQ magazine that In Pittsburgh, the U.S.
Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania reported that
Brian Crow, K3VR has agreed to pay the FCC $7,000 for causing interference
to other amateurs. The article states that Crow was cited with intentional
interference on 14.313 MHz and for failure to identify his transactions.
The news release also said Crow's Extra class license would be reduced to
Technician class for 6 months.
If you have worked 20 meters HF in the past few years you would have noted
this guy camped out on 14.313 and claimed it was his frequency alone.
Unfortunately, he also had lots of wattage and really caused havoc.
Good job, FCC!
