[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Virginia Senate Bill 806---UPDATE

All Virginia Amateur Radio Operators:

Please be advised that you all have very quickly stepped up to my earlier email concerning the above Senate Bill 806.

Your response to this bill has been nothing but fantastic.  While I have received hundreds of emails, our Virginia Legislators have been overwhelmed with hundreds and hundreds of phone calls and emails.  I have been told that they have never seen such a response to legislation in many years.

PLEASE NOTE : Your calls and emails have been successful.
I have also been told that the bill wording (in the proper legislative
English) will be changed to reflect protection for amateur radio operation as we have requested.

I must personally say thank you to each individual amateur radio operator who responded to my call concerning this need for change to the SB 860 bill.  I must also say thank you to all of legislators who took time to understand this need for immediate attention.
