[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Hamvention

One of my rooms has become available.  It's at the Holiday Inn Fairborn, which is across the street from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University and down the street from the US Air Force Museum.  Also, there are plenty of places to eat in the area.

With tax, the rooms are about $200 per night (remember, it is Hamvention).

We plan on leaving Wednesday, May 17 and returning on Sunday, May 21.  The plan is to visit the Air Force Museum on Thursday and the hamfest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  There is also Four Days in May and Contest College if airplanes aren't your thing.  But, there is also The Packard Museum and  nuclear museum in the area as well.

If you are interested in going, let me know by May 5.  You will have to order your own tickets and provide your transportation.  We do plan on a caravan out on Wednesday.  Hamvention tickets are $22 this year and ordering online is a breeze.
