Think of being able to monitor ALL 6, 2 and 440 repeaters in the DC area.
Working radio shack 2004 wide band scanner (see Specs below)
The back light needs to be replaced and there are step by step instructions
on the net and YouTube for this.
Comes with original box, manual, original BNC antenna, AC adapter, even
have the 9 volt backup battery installed. The display is totally working
and readable, no defects in the LCD. The dimmer switch also works, you need
only install a new back light to restore it to prime condition. Here is a
video of how this is done. I will even do it for you if you buy the part
and pay me another 25.00 for my time.

It is programmed with a ton of local frequencies so you can listen right to
out of the box. A back light strip can be had for around 12.00 on Ebay. As
scanners go, their were some past radios that stood out as amazing. Of the
Radio Shack series, these were the PRO-2004. 2005 and the (2006). Still
sought after even today.
Cash only and you pick up. these are going on Ebay for a lot more. I just
have too many radios :)
