All,
I need at least three volunteers to support Alexandria Hospital's participation in the Airport Emergency Drill on April 30th. More details when I get them, but expect you will need to be at the hospital EOC by 9AM.
Set up will be one mobile radio in the parking lot and at least two operators in the hospital. The mobile will check into the main net which I think will be on 145.47 (107.2 Hz, -600Khz offset). The second frequency will be up to the members at the hospital, but if all have D-Star capability, recommend the use of the 444.060 D-Star repeater (W4HFH__B). It is set up in the ID-51As. So you can listen on the main repeater and relay back to the mobile on 444.060 without interference. The d-Star repeater should help with the problems of RF shielding in the hospital.
If you would like to volunteer, please send me (N4ASX at cox.net) an e-mail.
