Come out and work a radio. All you need to bring is your voice.

This coming weekend is the annual Field Day which is held nationally. Every
year the Alexandria Radio Club participates by setting up radio stations in
a local park. The park is the same as last year's park which is:

Joseph Hensley Park, 4200 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA. 22304

It is across the street from the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter.

The Field Day dates are:

June 27 and 28, 2015.

We need volunteers to help set up radio and antennas. The start time is
10:00 am on Saturday. Team leaders definitely need to be there by that time
to set up club radios. We are 4A class for the event.

The operating time for "on-the-air" is 2:00 pm on Saturday to 1:59 pm on
Sunday.

Food and beverage will be available for the entire weekend. A $10.00 fee is
needed to offset the food cost.
