If you are looking for a good excuse to be out in the nice weather this weekend consider including volunteering for a few hours at the George Washington Classic 10-K Race (and 2-K Fun Run). Since we can’t seem to find anything significant that Gen. Washington ever did that wasn’t in the dead of winter, we have never run this race in nice weather (but we have done it 42 times in February!). The cold weather this year finally got us and we postponed the race to springtime, and we need your help to make it happen.
 
 There is free parking and you get a nice hat for your duty!
 
 Here are the times we need volunteers:
 
 Saturday Shifts (Saturday, May 2, 2015)
 11:30 to 2:30 p.m.
 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
 
 Race Day Shifts (Sunday, May 3, 2015)
 5:45 to 8:15 a.m.
 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
 
 Here are the tasks where we need help:
 
 Bag Check (Help runners store their stuff) Course Marshals (Help 
 runners along the racecourse) Finish Line (Hand out water at the 
 finish line) Food Set up (Set up food tables) Packet Pick up (Give out 
 bibs, tag timers, and t-shirts) Registration (Sign up runners) Water 
 Stop (Give out water along the route)
