[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] W4HFH Holiday Party

Each year our December meeting is our traditional holiday party.  Earlier we
identified Savio's Italian Restaurant in the Giant Shopping Center at the
corner of S. Van Dorn and Edsall as a good venue.  Nice menu - not pricy -
no room charge. See http://www.saviosalexandria.com/.  Two drawbacks though:
no separate room and the parking lot seems to be pretty full.

As an alternative we've also identified Fiona's Irish Pub as a good venue.
They remodeled the old BBQ place close to the Giant Shopping Center at the
corner of S. Van Dorn and Kingstowne Blvd (near Walmart). See
http://fionasirishpub.com/.  Also a nice menu - not pricy - no room charge.
Big advantage is a private dining room that can seat 40 easily and lots of
parking.

Let me know if you have a preference.  Right now I'm leaning towards
Fiona's.
