Larry Miller is asking for help again this year with the MMT-100 foot race
in the Massanutten Mountains. I have participated in this race for the last
3 or 4 years and have enjoyed it. It is run with 2-meters, I have always
run a portable setup with 30-50 watts out to reach the repeaters. it would
be difficult for them to run this race without hams because of the isolation
and lack of cell phone coverage. Unfortunately, it is always on the weekend
of Hamvention in Dayton, however, I am volunteering again this year. If
interested send Larry a note.
