Looking for something in the 25-50W range that will do down to
144MHz. The classic back in the day was the GE Phoenix but I'm sure those
are getting long in the tooth. Only need a single channel for APRS and 9
for WinLink (if I want to be frequency agile) but it would probably be best
to have the same radios for redundancy. I'm looking for at least 2 radios;
preferably 4. At least 2 would be installed at HacDC with 1 hot spare. One
would be an APRS digi/gateway and the other a WinLink node. These are to
cover central DC which has no APRS or WinLink infrastructure. The goal is
to help bridge MD and VA while allowing access to DC.
