All,
HARC (HacDC Amateur Radio Club) is providing Amateur Radio Licensing
training and testing for DC Department of Health Employees (and perhaps
other related emergency services employees). We have 4 Laurel
VEs/instructors from HARC but would like to add a few more VE's after lunch
so we can test as people are ready. They will be studying ahead of time and
might just need a little help with the material so we want them to test out
of the class as soon as they are ready. DC has very little Amateur EMCOMM
infrastructure and this is a great opportunity to make inroads. Their
primary use for Amateur Radio is to communicate with hospital in DC and the
surrounding areas. I realize this if for DC and not VA but we are all in
one, interdependent region. As one succeeds, we all succeed; as one fails,
we all fail.
