If it uses the same belt clip as the VX-7R, don't use the clip, or be 
very careful. One of my friends was using
the belt clip, and when he sat down, the radio rotated and fell off, 
landing on one of the control knobs and
breaking it. It is a quick-detachable clip, and works like it was 
designed to, but I don't think they thought it
through.

I like my VX-7R, but I just don't use the clip. The only comments I've 
heard about the VX-6R have been good.
