Anyone interested. Jim has one of the Motorola GTX-900 with 10 preprogrammed
frequencies for this area. My guess is that $100 is his asking price, but
he may sell for less.

Rick,
I have decided to get rid of the GTX-900 because it is impossible to get
reprogrammed here in the boons of Virginia. If the club or someone in the
club, etc, wants I will part with it for a reasonable offer. I can easily
ship it ground USPS. Since the guy who programmed this radio is still alive
in NVa, still has the software, the hardware and an ancient windows computer
to run the software it might be better for someone up the city to have this
radio.
What I have available,
Motorola original: The HT, the duck antenna, the slow-charge base charger
and wall-wart.
New: Antenna adapter going from the Motorola mixed gender UHF-mini to SMA
adapter, the earpiece/boom mic, and 2 new after-market 1200mAh 7.5V NiCd
batteries. All this new stuff is only a few months old. The batteries were
charged/discharged six times to break them in. The GTX-900 was tested at
the Winterfest HAMfest and worked just fine talking with the Alexandria
Radio Club guys on 927.6 simplex. Worked with the mixed Motorola GTX-900
and Alinco HTs.
Picture attached.
Let me know if ARC or a member or someone else might be interested in the
GTX-900 I have.
Thanks.
