[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FW: Information for APEX 2013 exercise @ DCA on Saturday

All,
	I have addressed this to those who volunteered for the National
Airport Drill this Saturday, but I have copied the club reflector as well.
	We will be providing support to INOVA Alexandria Hospital in support
of the National Airport Drill.  Arlington ARES has the lead and below is
their briefing material.
	We will set up a crossband repeater in the elevator shaft so we can
link to the main net (either 145.47 or 147.315),  we will use UHF to link
into the cross link using 444.6 as our repeater on that frequency is down
and we will not interfere with other operations.  For local communications
around the hospital we will set up a local net on 146.46 simplex.  
	We will have some of us assigned to the Emergency Operations Center,
at least one in the ER and one in the Clinic.  Our chief function will be
tracking the 'patients' as they arrive and depart the hospital and send this
info to the airport over their net.
	We will meet at the Hospital visitor's entrance at 0800, go to the
Emergency operations center to check in and then go to set up our gear.  We
may find that we can relay without having to go up to the roof, but the back
up will be the cross band repeater.
	The drill starts for us at 0900 and will go until the patients are
sent back to their start point. This should be about noon or no later then
1PM.
