Suggestions for others who plan to try to help shoot video at FD - If you don't do a lot of video (like me, none in years) you might want to check out Ham Nation 103 (you can Google that) and about 10 minutes in there is a section with Dale Puckett, K0HYD. Dale is a journalist and he is taking over video and stills for Ham Nation. From 10 minutes in to 22 minutes Dale shows video thats not so good and then some that is very good and offers tips for shooting video. He is soliciting FD Video for Ham Nation so maybe we can help get the club on Ham Nation. John, kk4rbb - 73

Subject: [Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Coming to W4HFH's Field Day? Have a digital video camera? I NEED YOU!

Good evening folks

As most of you know, I have been responsible for shooting and assembling
the club's field day video for the last two years. Last year, I was so
busy, that I know I missed a lot of great opportunities to get more footage.

If you aren't familiar with my videos you can watch them at these links:
2012: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw6_vxYgokI
2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSPo0GufObg

If you have a digital video phone or camera capable of shooting at least
720p HD video, I would ask that you bring your camera out to field day. I
will still have my cameras this year, however I want any and all
participants to shoot and provide footage to be used in this year's field
day video! This just gives me more material to make this year's video
from.

Some ideas to shoot:
Setup
FD QSOs
Meals
Interviewing club members
Raising antennas
Teardown
Anything else interesting about radio or the club!

Thank you very much in advance for the assistance!
