The really cool part is a former Alexandria Radio Club member and his son
were extras in the movie. The ARRL website had a story on it a few weeks
ago.

reasons. But it also had fantastic authentic telegraphs, and several key
scenes happened in the Whitehouse Telegraph Office. I really got a got a
good idea of what it must have been like back then to be a telegraph
operator! And the antique telegraphs were works of art in brass and
mahogany.
