Friends,

David D. Carter, fifty-six, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away June 28, 2013,
at the University of Maryland Medical Center after an illness.  He is
survived by his two adult children Heather and Jimmy.  David retired after
over twenty years of military service in the Army where he served as both a
combat medic and a signal corps officer, and then worked for MITRE. A
memorial service will be held at Burke, United Methodist Church Saturday,
July 20, 2013 at 10 am.  Burke United Methodist Church is at the corner of
Burke Lake Rd & Burke Centre Pkwy, 6200 Burke Centre Parkway, Burke, VA
22015.  A service with military honors will be held at Arlington National
Cemetery at a later date.
