At the club meeting on April 8th we'll have everyone give their VAQP report.
If you worked club members bring your QSL cards for exchange - cheaper than
postage!

Well, my score was only 3,649 points, but I don't think I did too bad
for a first effort. I worked W4HFH, and I sent a card (I didn't get the
message about that not being required until too late), and I'll just
pick up the W4HFH card at the next meeting.

I was hoping for QSLs or at least LoTW entries for some of those
counties, but in a lot of cases, the ops indicated on QRZ that they
don't QSL at all, no mail, no eQSL, no LoTW -- nothing. That's a bit
disappointing.

I did get a county or two I'd never heard of (Giles??? Isle of
Wight???). I had fun. I even worked a station in Richmond using another
Yaesu FT817.

My program generated the file in Cabrillo 2.0, but I massaged the
headers to match what they were looking for in 3.0, and changed it to
version 3.0. I think it looks OK.

P.S. I was a cheapskate. Not only did my cards come from cheapqsls.com,
but I didn't even send SASEs to W4HFH and KA4GFY! :)
