[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] FYI: AMRAD and Old Virginia Hams special event stations July 21-24

The following is information that may be of interest  to ARC club members
and is provided by Mark Braunstein, WA4KFZ:

"There are still a few details to be worked out, but AMRAD and the OVH will
be operating two special event station between July 21-24, 2011 at the
Manassas Battlefield as part of the 150th anniversary activities. At a
minimum, operation will be QRP (i.e., no generators) on HF.   WA4KFZ will
try to operate on satellite and D-Star in addition to HF.  AMRAD is going to
be operating with the special event callsign W3U; OVH will operate with the
special event callsign W4C."
