Our mag 5.8 earthquake in the VA-DC-MD area today serves as a reminder that
we should have our go-kits packed and ready including batteries charged. Not
much advance warning!  

 

Still a couple of days before we're certain about Hurricane Irene's path and
strength but we should be ready for the worst.  Could be like Hurricane
Isabel in 2003.
