Someone asked about commercial gear coming on the market due to the
narrowbanding mandate for systems below 500mhz.  Here are two great sites:

I noticed that the Wyoming Department of Transportation has four Motorola
Micor VHF repeaters up for bid.  The current price is $50 (for all four) and
the high bidder appears to be an amateur radio operator.  A year or so ago I
picked up a box of 5 Motorola Saber VHF radios from a jurisdiction in
Virginia for about $30.
