ALCON,
It has been some time since I posted onto this list, and even longer
since I have been able to come to a meeting or Monday night informal
dinner. I do most certainly miss everyone from the club. Happy New
Year to everyone!
In August I bought an IC-92AD (and its associative RS-92
Software/Cable package) but did not have time to really play with it
until now (I know, I know..."so bad ham of me").
I used "CHIRP" to export into CSV format all of the "Band A" and "Band
B" frequencies in the radio (I was told the RS-91 Software does not
have any import/export to CSV capability).
The RS-92 software has an "import/export" function that was "greyed
out" on my copy when I tried it. I am using version "1.1" of the RS-92
software from an original ICOM CD. Has anyone had a similar such
experience?
There is also a version "1.0" of the RS-92 Software, but I do not
have, nor have I seen that version at all.
I have a ticket open with ICOM on this issue, and they are also going
to look at both variants of the software.
73,
Stuart, N3GWG
