[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Eagle Scout Project - Jim KG4SGP

Hi guys!
    I’m looking to do my Eagle Scout project soon (before May 15th) and would like it to involve ham radio. I would like to benefit the ARES with this project but I am open to suggestions. I was thinking of building antennas that could be placed at strategic points around the city (hospitals, police stations, fire stations, etc.) so that in an emergency they can be quickly deployed and would provide good communications base. As I don't know what the needs are for anything like this, any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. I’m open to anything really.
