[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Diabetes Fundraiser in memory of Alan Wormser

Hello to friends and family of mine and Alan Wormser's, 

Two years have passed since Alan Wormser died, and life goes on for many who remember him with love and loss in our hearts.

Alan died on August 12, 2005 from a stroke brought on by a lifetime of Type 1 diabetes.  My life was destroyed when that happened, and I now know that it happens to many other people every single day.  This tragedy is far out of my ability to fix, but I can influence the battle through fundraising for the American Diabetes Association.  The ADA is the foremost source of awareness building, patient support, and fundraising efforts to fight diabetes in our country.  I am supporting the ADA's efforts by organizing a team of walkers in honor of my beloved Alan for their annual fundraising walk event.  It is my hope that I can at least contribute something to the possible future of no more deaths from diabetes.
