[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Amendment to Amateur License Format

ARC Members:

    Over the last week or so I have been in communications with the FCC
concerning some issues with their website which recently became noticeable
to me.

    The originate impetus to my discussions with them was the absence of the
reference copy capability, which they quickly restored upon request. Though,
it is instructive that this lead to some further discussions concerning the
fact that the FRN # was not printing on the wallet sized license. This also
was approved for corrective action. However, subordinate to the request for
correction of the FRN issue, I asked if they might amend the size and format
of the current wallet sized license such that it comes into compliancy with
today's wallets and is the size of a standard state drivers license. I will
know more concerning this request soon.

    I hope everyone had a great field day, as I spent mine with the NRAC
(Nellis Radio Amateur Club) here in Las Vegas, NV!
