Dear All,
The $5 I spent for the Fisher MC-2000 Stereo Receiver with FM dipole
antenna last night at the club meeting was one of the best buys I ever
made! It works very well. Only the stereo light in FM mode doesn't come,
but one can tell one is getting a stereo sub-carrier from the stereo
audio one is hearing on FM. So that one light doesn't come on: Like so
what! It's a full complete stereo receiver from the 1970's by the looks
of it. A mid-priced unit I would guess. 50 watts rms rating. AM, FM Auto,
FM Muting, Tape Mon - Tape or Source (with Tape Deck In & Out's), Phone,
Aux selections. Loudness On/Off. Like I said, an excellent buy for $5. I
hooked up my older tape deck & some 30+ year old stereo receiver speakers
to it. Makes a nice stereo system for my bed room. :-)
I also found the manual for the Adi AR 147 High Powered FM 2m rig with 2m
5/8 wave magnetic mount antenna I'm selling if anybody is interested. I'm
asking $125 for both radio and antenna.
