All, I know it's a little early for volunteers but I wanted to pass this
along to the club and those who for many years now have volunteered to
support this parade.

Hi Rick,
 
You are always so kind to offer to help!  I certainly would like to have
your help with the GWParade on February 19th as well as the 10-K on February
17th, if you are available for that as well.  There will be a training
meeting on February 11th at the American Legion (3rd floor) at 2 p.m.
Perhaps we could get together some time that afternoon to go over any
details.  I will send you line up information during the week prior as well.
 
Darla Marburger is working with us this year to coordinate parade volunteers
and she might be making contact with you as well; although you and I will
still be working together on Parade Day.
 
Also, it is my pleasure to inform you that the George Washington Birthday
Celebration Committee will be making the Chairman's Award to the Alexandria
Radio Club this year in recognition of all your contributions to our events
over many years.  We would like to present this to you at the reception to
be held at the conclusion of the Parade, if convenient.
