You must not get on 80M very much, if you find "ZYP" to be offensive. I first got interested in ham radio while a SWL back in the mid to late '50's. One of the stations that came booming in on my old regenerative receiver was K6DDI. He always signed with King 6 Dog Dog Item, your Dirty Diaper Inspector from West Smogville. Do you think that I'd still remember his call if it wasn't for his creative phonetics? As others have suggested, lighten up, it's supposed to be fun.
