Additionally we will hand out the first version of the Alexandria ARES handbook.  Talk about ARRL and FEMA training available and about how we can be be better prepared.
 
ON FEB 17th we have the Washington's Birthday 10K fun run.  I need about 5 operators
Meet at the AMC Eisenhower parking lot at 7:30 AM, Look for the club trailer.  Dress warmly and we should be done by Noon.

ON FEB 18th the Richmond FrostFest.  The hamfest committee may be working on carpools.
 
On FEB 19th WASHINGTON BIRTHDAY PARADE
NEED about 12 operators.  PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG to the Mt. Vernon Club and any one I missed on this e-mail
Meet at Lyles Crouch School at 10 AM (Street and school lot parking close at 10AM).  Assignments will be to work with the parade division marshals to get the correct order of march, turn in your changes to the digital station at the start of the parade and then move toward the finish line.  After the parade we go for pizza
Parade kick off is 1 PM and ends by 2:30.
 
THIS YEAR WE ARE BEING HONORED WITH THE CHAIRMAN'S AWARD for our support of the parade.
