[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Upcoming events seeing communications volunteers

Two upcoming events. Please reply to the coordinators listed if you are able
to come out:

Bull Run Run 50 Miler Scheduled for April 14, 2007

The Virginia Happy Trails Running Club has asked for communication support
during this year's Bull Run Run. Please contact Rick at N4ASX at arrl.net to
volunteer. Include radio, antenna, and other equipment information to help
Rick coordinate the volunteers.

The organizers of the Potomac River Run Marathon and Half-Marathon are
asking for amateur radio operators to provide communication service for
their event on Sunday, 6 May 2007.

The course extends from Belle Haven south to Riverside Park; course maps are
available at http://www.pvtc.org/marathondirections.html. Other information
regarding the event may be found at http://www.pvtc.org/marathon.html. 

We'll need to be set up about 0600 at the race start; other aid stations
open later. Race organizers estimate we'll be done by 1300 (there is a
picnic afterward to which the folks providing communication support have
been invited).

Please let me know if you'll be able to volunteer for this event.
