VERY COOL VIDEO FEATURING TOWER CLIMBERS
Here is a very cool Coca-Cola spot that hits close to
home for everybody who's ever climbed or worked with tower
guys -- even if the ones in the spot do go straight up the
tower, skipping the ladder....

ANOTHER COOL TOWER VIDEO - THIS ONE GETS A GOLD STAR
One cool tower video (CGC #759) deserves another. Here's
one taped in Denmark by my friends Andrew Huddleston (G3WZZ /
OZ1XJ) and his wife Lissa Ladefoged. Andrew and Lissa are
country/western singers living in Arhus, Denmark, but who record
in Nasville as Andrew John and Lissa. This video is to promote
a CD called "SEEK YOU" -- all songs about ham radio....
No trick photography or post production effects.... Andrew
is actually at the top of the 100' tower at his contest site. He
seems to like it up there because he takes his guitar with him at
times. And, Lissa is really up at the 66' level -- I think
standing on an early Step-R tri-bander -- opening the champaign.
It was taped live using a camera crane.... I have an NTSC
Beta SP dub here at the house -- the only broadcast quality copy
in the USA. Anyhow, take a look.
