Club members:
I plan to purchase some 2.5mm 3 conductor cables tomorrow, which can be
used for making a GPS Cable for a Kenwood D700, D7A, or Icom IC-91AD (DSTAR)
radio.
They can also be used for making an IC-91AD programming cable as well.
They are $2.50/each, plus S&H, and I will be placing my order by 1630 on
Monday.
Additionally, I plan to order some RJ45 -> DB-9F adapters as well.
My idea is to crimp an RJ-45 plug onto the 2.5mm cables and then wire up
each RJ-45/DB-9F appropriately for either GPS usage (D700/D7A/IC-91AD) or to
use as a programming cable (IC-91AD).
Please let me know by 16:00 tomorrow by emailing me at teners at bh90210
dot net.
Thanks!
