I am very proud to announce that Club member Jimmy Carter, KG4SGP is this
year's Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Award winner! Sponsored by the American
Radio Relay League, ARRL, the Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Award is given
annually to a licensed radio amateur under the age of 21 who's
accomplishments and contributions to both the community of Amateur Radio and
the local community are of the most exemplary nature. The prize consists of
a cash award and a suitably engraved plaque. Look for the official notice to
be posted on the ARRL website soon.
