[Alexandria Radio Club Reflector] Club Fox Hunt This Sunday

The first fox hunt of the year is scheduled for this Sunday, April 30
starting at 11:00 AM! Rick Bunn N4ASX has volunteered to be our fox. If you
have never participated in a hunt but would like see what it is all about,
come on out and pair up with an Elmer or learn right along with some of us
who will be giving it a try. You're guaranteed a lot of fun!

Rick has offered his beam and attenuator to any team that would like to give
it a try. Email Rick at N4ASX at arrl.net if interested.

Fox Hunt Rules:

Chatter frequency will the be club's repeater 147.315+

Hunt will take place within the city limits of Alexandria, VA

Hunters may start from any location. 

Fox will be in a publicly accessible location.

Fox transit frequency is 146.49 

Fox will transmit for 15 seconds each minute but then MAY change to 1 minute
every five minutes. 

Fox may change power.

Folks wishing to team up may meet at the Fire Training Center at 10:00.
We'll gather back there at the conclusion for presentations and then, as is
always with this club, we'll choose a location to go have some lunch.
