I've fallen off a cliff for a while because I had a kid, but I'm now back on the radio.
Anyway, it's tentative, but I'm looking to possibly do some POTAs this weekend.
Hunters, another activator with me or at another park for park-to-park would be fun.
This would be my first POTA as an activator. I'd like to do a 2m/70cm VHF and HF activation. I don't know if there will be enough 2m/70cm FM activity for me to get an activation but the hunters would get credit. Either way I'm up for trying. No 6m this time as I haven't built an antenna for it yet. A 6m moxon will be my next antenna project.
It is likely I can get some rain-free time in Saturday morning through early afternoon. I don't have a canopy so I need rainfree conditions. Friday might work but I don't know if I can get to charging the battery by then (long story).
My QRZ page is out of date (since before I had a kid). My vhf/UHF capabilities are FM only and ill just be using a roll up slimjim.
For HF I'm still getting up to speed on my new-to-me ts-570sg, ill be using a wolfriver coil antenna, or a 40/20/15/10 fan dipole. If someone wants to join, they can use the fan dipole if need be.
Ive got a 100AH LiFePo battery.
I had to reinstall linux on my toughbook so I can't do digital at this time unless I find time to get it setup before this weekend.
I can also share my battery or antenna with someone who could operate with me.
