KL7UW operating from my New Hamshack:
> Net begins at 9:30am on 144.200 USB until about 10:00am when we switch
> to 146.52 FM (may switch a little earlier if SSB activity is low).
>
> Net continues until approx 10:30am and other bands can be activated upon
> request:
> 50.125 USB Using only the 3-element yagi pointed toward Anchorage
> 446.00 FM
> 432.200 USB
>
> 223.50 is still located in the original shack (in the house 100-foot
> away) so KL7UW will not be QRV for check-ins on 223.50.

Jenne-KL4SE has a new 50w 2m radio so look for her on 146.52. She is
located 3mi north of me in Nikiski running a vertical antenna.

Brandon-KL7BSC is on the Kenai this WE:
Friday Night:
Camp in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and activate by HF.
Saturday AM:
Activate Captain Cook State Recreation Area during the Alaska
VHF-Up net
Saturday morning - afternoon:
Activate Johnson lake State Recreation Area
Activate Crooked Creek State Recreation Site
Activate Kasilof River State Recreation Site
For each of the Saturday activations I will be running a j-pole antenna
for 2 M and 70 cm, and my usual telescoping vertical for HF. Bringing a
yagi would give me more reach on VHF, but I just don't have a way to get
it set up and taken down quickly enough to move between sites unless I
set up the full rover suite.

My New 80m folded dipole is up and functional so I plan to check-into
the Swap net at 11:00am

keep warm out there!
