Brandon,

That will help get a signal out on 6m. I ran a DB Products 3-element
yagi (originally set on 72-MHz) on 50.3 MHz by adding tubing to the
elements to make them longer. I did not modify element spacing on the
boom so they are a little close for optimum gain. but I assume about
5-6 dBi.

With this antenna only twenty feet high I worked a lot states and even
many JA's with 125w (Mirage amp driven at 8w by my K3).

I now use an Elecraft HF/6m amp with auto-tuner that produces 50w.

Last week I re-constructed one of my LFA yagi to have 5-elements on a
17-foot boom. Assuming 10-dBi+ in gain. its 12-foot high on a mast
clamped to a short tower (until I can get my Rohn-45 tower planted in
concrete and both 5-element yagis stacked at 25 and 49-feet on a rotator.

The 3-element yagi is pointed toward Anchorage and 5-element toward West
Coast US. My amp has two antenna outputs.

Be interested to try 6m-SSB with you.
