This mainly directed to a south-central Alaskan stations:

Today, I spotted a TVRO 3m dish sitting in an equipment yard (and
looking surplus). The company does commercial electrical and some
satellite dish installs (like DishNet or Direct-TV which use the smaller
1.2m dish on 11-GHz). This resembles the kautronics (KTI) four-part
dish which easily unbolts into four quadrants for shipping.

I'm guessing this a leftover from the C-band TVRO days and likely
surplus (and maybe cheap). I used to install similar dishes in
1980-90's and the mesh surface is good to 4.2 GHz.

This in the yard of Kachemak Electric in Kenai, AK.

A good "find" for prospective 1296-eme hams in this region of AK.
Probably too costly for shipping out of AK.
